10ft and 45ft Containers

Sometimes you don’t want the usual size containers. A 20’ is too big or a 40’ is too small. Enter the 10’ container and 45’ containers.

10ft Container

10’ containers cannot be commercially shipped internationally, so they have to convert to 10’ containers once they are in the US. There are 2 different ways we get 10’s:

  1. Duo-cons are two 10' containers welded together at the corner castings. When they get to the US, we cut them apart and have their end walls—which are included inside the container—installed on them. We sell these as they come over from China (two stuck together) and as 10' containers after the work is done.

  2. Cut a 20' container down to a 10' container. See our Custom-length Container section for more information on how we do this.

45' High Cube Containers

45’ High cube containers offer a longer option to 40’ containers. They only come in the high cube height. 45’ High cube containers come with a set of corner posts centered 40’ apart so that they can be picked up by cranes and forklifts the same as 40’ containers, giving them the look like someone popped out the ends of them a few feet.

These containers are not always available in all locations at all times and are more readily available in used rather than one-trip/"new” condition.
