# The Saner Container
# Check out what’s popping up! Container Markets
Toronto and Brooklyn are both home to container markets. Container markets are a planned market made of containers. Vendors buy or rent their space and the venue provides extras like seating areas, etc. Scadding Court Community Centre in Toronto is even holding sessions on how to start your own container market.

The [Dekalb Market](http://dekalbmarket.com/) is a joint venture between specialty market developers [Urban Space](http://www.urbanspacenyc.com/) and Youngwoo and Associates. Market 707 on Dundas in Toronto was started by the Scadding Court Community Centre as a way to bring business and diverse food options into their neighborhood. Containers are great - whether you're shopping **for** a container or shopping **in** a container!
